Four Great Way-places here in the West
四大菩薩來到西方國家，助佛揚化， 令佛教發揚光大。   The four great Bodhisattvas have come to the Western nations to help the Buddha spread the Dharma and teach people so that Buddhism will flourish.

在中國有四大道場：

（一）山西省五臺山，是文殊師利菩薩的道場。
（二）四川省峨嵋山，是普賢菩薩的道場。
（三）安徽省九華山，是地藏菩薩的道場。
（四）浙江省普陀山，是觀世音菩薩的道場。

法界佛教總會在美國和加拿大兩國成立四個道場，作為弘揚佛法的根據地。

（一）在萬佛聖城為觀音菩薩道場；以觀世音菩薩為主，以地藏王菩薩為副。
（二）在洛杉磯為地藏菩薩道場；以地藏王菩薩為主，以觀世音菩薩為副。
（三）在西雅圖為普賢菩薩道場；以普賢菩薩為主，以文殊師利菩薩為副。
（四）在溫哥華為文殊菩薩道場；以文殊師利菩薩為主，以普賢菩薩為副。

四大菩薩來到西方國家，助佛揚化，令佛教發揚光大。人人能信仰佛教，就能消滅貪、瞋、癡三毒之心；無貪、無瞋、無癡，心地光明，世界就會和平，永無戰爭。

如果有人想朝拜文殊師利菩薩，請到溫哥華；想朝拜普賢菩薩，請到西雅圖；想朝拜觀世音菩薩，請到萬佛聖城；想朝拜地藏王菩薩，請到洛杉磯。希望佛教徒要有虔誠的心，恭恭敬敬朝拜四大菩薩，用功學習佛法。

 

  

There are four great Bodhimandas in China:

  1. Wutai (Five Peaks) Mountain in Shanxi Province is the Bodhimanda of Manjushri Bodhisattva.
  2. Emei Mountain in Sichuan Province is the Bodhimanda of Universal Worthy (Samantabhadra) Bodhisattva.
  3. Jiuhua (Nine Flowers) Mountain in Anhui Province is the Bodhimanda of Earth Store (Ksitigarbha) Bodhisattva.
  4. Putuo (Potola) Mountain in Zhejiang Province is the Bodhimanda of Guanyin (Avalokiteshvara) Bodhisattva.

The Dharma Realm Buddhist Association has established four Bodhimandas in North America, which will serve as the bases for the propagation of the Buddhadharma.

  1. The City of Ten Thousand Buddhas is in Talmage, California. Guanyin Bodhisattva is in the primary position and Earth Store Bodhisattva in the secondary position.
  2. Gold Wheel Monastery Bodhimanda is in Los Angeles. Earth Store Bodhisattva is in the primary position and Guanyin Bodhisattva is in the secondary position.
  3. Gold Summit Monastery Bodhimanda is in Seattle. Universal Worthy Bodhisattva is in the primary position and Manjushri Bodhisattva is in the secondary position.
  4. Gold Buddha Monastery is in Vancouver. Manjushri Bodhisattva is in the primary position and Universal Worthy Bodhisattva is in the secondary position.

The four great Bodhisattvas have come to the Western nations to help the Buddha spread the Dharma and teach people so that Buddhism will flourish. When all people believe in Buddhism, they can all dispel their thoughts of greed, anger and delusion. With no greed, anger, and delusion, the Mind Ground will shine, and the world will live in harmony; free of warfare forever. To pay homage to Manjushri Bodhisattva, please come to Vancouver. To pay homage to Universal Worthy Bodhisattva, please come to Seattle. To pay homage to Guanyin Bodhisattva, please come to the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. To pay homage to Earth Store Bodhisattva, please come to Los Angeles. I hope that all Buddhists will sincerely and reverently pay homage to these four great Bodhisattvas, and diligently study the Dharma.
