* Celebration of Amitabha Buddha’s Birthday – December 15, 2013
* Amitabha Session – December 15-21, 2013 – schedule
The Saha world’s unlimited impermanence, unlimited darkness, unlimited hardships, myriads of painful illness, myriads of entanglements, myriads of afflictions, they have no boundaries and are like seas of suffering.
Amitabha Buddha has all kinds of great vows, all encompassing compassion, all encompassing types of mindfulness, all kinds of relief, all kinds of teachings, all kinds of expedients, they have no limit and is like the vessel for salvation.
In this Pureland within this mundane world, the Buddha’s name was recited sound after sound. In the Land of Ultimate Bliss, lotus flowers are flourishing day by day. In a seven-day session, the nature of Thus Come One’s mind is revealed. One can suddenly attain certification of enlightenment, as though one has first awakened from the big dream.
We recite the Buddha’s name with sincerity and honesty. There’s no a trace of false thought in our minds, and our minds which can correspond with one another. Our minds can transform the outer states. All mundane and filthy dust becomes the pure land.
We recite the Buddha’s name continually and unceasingly. Our bodies emit light of kindness, light shines upon one another. This light can remove darkness. All beings on the path of evil destiny will ascent to Heaven.
We recite the Buddha’s name with the thought that both people and Dharma are empty. There are only the vows left. All vows contain compassion and sympathy. Vows can unite all beings. All living beings whether with sentient or without sentient can accomplish Buddha hood.
When one does good deeds wholeheartedly, one lamp can light up to 100 lamps. When being kind and compassionate in every thought, demons can be turned into Buddha’s disciples. When uniting everyone’s strength, tasks can be accomplished, and energy can be garnered to save the world.
When all the light of the world shines together, reciting the Buddha’s name will bring blessings to the world.
